侯开嘉

1946年5月出生于四川省宜宾市。四川大学艺术学院教授、硕士生导师，中国书法家协会学术委员会委员，四川省书学学会副会长。自八十年代初即参加国内外重要书法活动，作品多次入选国内外大型书展，被收入《中南海珍藏书法集第一卷》、《日中代表书法展览作品展》、《二十世纪名家楹联墨迹大观》、《中国当代书法百人精品集》等二百余种国内外书法专集。1988年获湖南电视台主办的龙年国际书法电视大赛金奖，1992年获中国书协主办的第五届全国书展“全国奖”。1994年和1995年应邀参加由七国十一位艺术家组成、在美国纽约和洛杉矶举办的《墨的艺术——国际现代书法展览》。1993年出访日本、1994年出访美国、2003年出访欧洲，进行文化考察和艺术交流。所著书学论文多有创见，敢于标新立异，多次入选全国和国际的大型学术会议。代表论文有《俗书与官书的双线发展规律》、《题壁书法兴废史述》、《论竹简与纸的发明对书法艺术的重大意义》、《隶草派生章草今草说》、《西学东渐与清代碑学兴起的思辨》等。日本《书》杂志“现代中国人物”栏目第十四期专题介绍其生平及艺术成就。有《侯开嘉书法文集》、《侯开嘉书法集》、《蜀派书法名家精选.侯开嘉》等专著出版。
Hou Kaijia was born in Yibin city, southwest China Sichuan province, in May 1946. He is a member of Chinese Calligraphers Association, the vice director of Sichuan Provincial Calligraphy association, a vice professor of Art Department of Sichuan Union University. He has taken part in significant calligraphy activities at home and abroad since early 1980‘s. His works have been chosen calligraphy exhibitions many times. Quite a few of them were collected in the Calligraphy Treasures of Zhong Nan Hai, Vol.1, Collection of Sino-Japaniese Calligrapher Delegates Works Exhibition, Collection of Sino-Singapore Calligraphy Exchange Exhibition, Chinese Contemporary Fine Works Collection of 100 Calligraphers, etc. In 1992, he won the "National Prize" of the Fifth National Calligraphy Exhibition held by Chinese Calligraphers Association. In 1994 and in 1995, he was invited to the Art of Ink-International Contemporary Calligraphy Exhibition held in Los Angeles and New York, USA, composed of eleven artists coming from seven countries. He visited Japan and America in 1993 and in 1994 respectively to exchange culture and art. His main works are Collection of Hou Kaijia‘s Calligraphy,Collected Works of Hou Kaijia‘s Calligraphy,Selection of Famouse Shu Branch Calligraphers--Hou Kaijia, etc.
