彭先诚

1941年生，四川成都人，现为中国美术家协会会员，四川美术家协会理事，四川省诗书画院一级美术师。自幼酷爱绘画，自学成家，曾赴敦煌千佛洞和新疆作美术考察，只身赴大、小凉山写生，足迹遍行大江南北，八十年代初确立个人绘画风格。画家常以古诗词及传统题材入画，擅长没骨点染破墨法，善画鞍马人物。作画重于直觉，注重偶然的水墨关系，能巧妙地将汉唐艺术之风融入笔端。其画风清雅明丽，单纯拙朴，灵气迫人，高古而具现代情感。

1989年参加《第七届全国美展》，作品《西厢画意》获铜奖。1990年在香港举办个人画展，作品《马球图》获《全国体育美展》一等奖。1991年参加香港荣宝斋《名家字画拍卖会》。1992年参加《深圳国际水墨画展》。1994年应美国《国际访问者计划》邀请访美进行文化交流、美术考察。1995年参加《二十世纪中国绘画——传统与创新》大型巡回展。作品《文姬归汉图》、《戏鹦》等为中国美术馆收藏。出版有《彭先诚画集》、《彭先诚水墨人物画集》。

Peng Xian-Cheng was born in Chengdu, Sichuan, China in 1941. He is now a member of the Artists‘ Association of China, a director of the Artists‘ Association of Sichuan, the first grade painter of the Academy of Sichuan Traditional Chinese Painting, Calligraphy and oetry. he has ardently loved painting ince his childhood. He taught himself to form his unique style. he went alone to Dunhuang and Xinjiang autonomous reagion as well as Liangshan Yi minority nationality autonomous region to explore and sketch from nature. He has traversed the length and breadth of the land.

He wstablished his painting style by the early of 1980‘s. He is good at drawing horse-riding figures. He often draws material from ancient poetry and traditional topics. He stresses intuition. He can ingeniously mix painting styles of Tang and Han Dynasty together with his own style. His paintings are delicate, pretty, simple, intelligent, and natural.

His painting was awarded the copper prize in "the seventh National Paintings‘ exhibition". He held his paintings‘ display in Hongkong in 1990. His "polo" won the golden prize in "National Sports‘ Painting Exhibition". He participated in "Auction-sale of Famous Painters‘ and Calligraphers‘ Works in Honkong" in 1991. He attended " the International Water-Ink Painting Exhibition of Shenzhen" in 1992. He was invited to visit U.S.A as a visit scholor to exchange culture in 1994. He took part in "the 20th Century Chinese Painting --Tradition and Creation" mobile exhibition in 1995. His "Wen-Ji‘s Returning to the Han Dynasty", "Playing Parrot" have been collected by the Fine Art Musium of China.His "Paintings‘ Album of Peng XianCheng" and "Water-Ink Figure Paintings‘ Album of Peng Xian-Cheng" have been published.
