张鸿奎

1930年生，河北涿洲人。1957年入四川美术学院国画系，攻人物画，毕业后留校任教，后调《成都晚报》任美术摄影部主任、主任编辑。

近年来，在全国几十种报刊杂志上发表戏剧舞台速写和戏剧人物画数百幅，在成都、重庆、广州等地举办《张鸿奎戏剧人物画展览》。张鸿奎的戏画还多次参加国内外的展出、发表和获奖，深受海内外人士的喜爱。曾出版《张鸿奎川剧人物画》，小传被收入《中国当代美术家人名录》和《中国四川戏剧家名录》。现为四川美术家协会理事、四川戏剧家美术家协会理事、香港当代艺术中心、马来西亚艺术交流中心特聘艺术家。

Artist Zhang Hong-Kui, whose hometown is Zhuozhou County of Hebei province, was born in 1930. He enrolled in the Department of Traditional Chinese Painting of Sichuan Fine Art School in 1957 and majored in figure painting. He had lectured in the school before he moved to Chengdu working as a senior editor of Chengdu Evening Paper.

He is expert in drama figure painting. He stresses three factors in his painting-- movement, aesthetic feeling, and emotion. His drawings are composed subtly with simple brush and combined form with spirit. His painting embodies romantic charm of figures and rhythm of dramas. He is unique in the branch of drama figure painting.

He has published hundreds of drama figure paintings and stage sketches in national newspapers and magazines in recent years. He has held Exhibition of Drama Figure Painting of Zhang Hong-Kui in Chengdu, Chongqing, Guangzhou, and other cities. In addition, his paintings have been displayed, published, and awarded prizes both at home and abroad as well as deeply loved by people. Sichuan Drama Figure Paintings of Zhang Hong-Kui, color album, has been published. His biography has been collected by Collection of Chinese Contemporary Famous Fine Artists and by Collection of Sichuan Dramatists in China.

He is a director of Sichuan Branch of the Chinese Fine Artist Association, a member of Sichuan Branch of the Chinese Dramatist Association, a member of the Theoretical Research Society of Sichuan Drama, and an invited artist of Hong Kong Fine Art Center and Fine Art Center of Malaysia.
